AN CUONG PRESENTS CLEAN WATER FILTER SYSTEM TO ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNES, BU NA

August 31 - September 1, Project and Export Department - An Cuong wood working JSC, had a volunteer trip to Bu Na Village, Bu Na commune, Dong Nai Thuong, Cat Tien district, Lam Dong Province. This is the land where the people suffer from the poverty of both physically and mentally. Most of the citizen are from the Mạ Tribe, their income mainly revolves around cashew and coffee farming….Children are at the age of schooling, however, with such poor condition, unaffordable for tuition fees, these children are forced to leave school early and work to support their family.

Deprivation are when the village also lacks clean water for daily activities which can cause great health problem more or less within the people. Understanding the difficulties, the Project and Export Department presented a Clean Water Filter System worth up to 70 millions Vietnam Dong for the villagers. Hopefully, with this better water source, can bring a new driving force to improve the life of the people from this land.

In addition, the Project and Export Department, together with other sponsors and volunteer groups, continues to give 200 benefits for 200 poor household which are essential necessities for daily life (total worth over 80 million VND). However with this little support, the Project and Export Department hopes with this little contribution can share some of the difficulties that the people have to endure; together, we contribute to bring joy and happiness to the people here, especially for the children in the beginning of school year.

During this trip, on the following days the Project and Export Department along with other volunteer groups organized games as well as giving Lanterns and Moon Cakes… helping the children can fully enjoy the Mid Autumn Festival. Despite being simple, we hope to bring out the most caring, loving and sincere memorable moments for all the children.
