AN CUONG CONTINUES THE JOURNEY OF SPREADING KNOWLEDGE WITH THE 2030 LIBRARY PROJECT IN LAOS

Continuing its mission to spread knowledge through the 2030 Library Project, An Cuong joined the special journey to Attapeu, Laos. 

For nearly two decades, the 2030 Library Project has carried the mission of building reading spaces, spreading knowledge, and creating a foundation for sustainable development for children in remote areas across Vietnam. In 2026, the project marked a special milestone by crossing Vietnam’s borders for the first time, bringing this journey to the community in Attapeu Province, Laos. 

As part of the 17th 2030 Library Project, themed “Vietnamese Sunshine on the Mekong River, Nurturing Vietnam - Laos Dreams,” held from August 29 to September 1, 2026, An Cuong accompanied the project to the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Secondary School in Attapeu Province. The school has nearly 500 students, many of whom are children of Vietnamese expatriate families. 

Over the four-day, three-night journey, the delegation arrived in Attapeu and presented the first 2030 Library built outside Vietnam. Along with the new reading space, the program also presented scholarships and gifts, conveying the sentiments of the Vietnamese business community to local students. 

The journey was also an opportunity for An Cuong, the 2030 Library Project, and its accompanying organizations to connect, exchange, and spread the spirit of Vietnam - Laos friendship, continuing the good values that the project has steadily nurtured for nearly two decades. 

Wrapping up the journey “Vietnamese Sunshine on the Mekong River, Nurturing Vietnam - Laos Dreams,” An Cuong continued to affirm its spirit of joining hands with the community through meaningful social activities, working toward positive and sustainable values for society.
