TRAINING AT INTERTEK VIETNAM

On August 16th 2022, An Cuong Project and Export Department had the opportunity to visit and participate in a training section at Intertek Vietnam.

Intertek is well-known as a company with more than 127 years of experience in the field of testing and quality assurance, which help businesses reduce risks and maximize product value. At the training session, the Intertek representative presented the process of the testing stages and standard requirements.

In general, there are three major testing stages: Sample Testing, PPT - Pre-Purchase Testing, and PSI/POPT – Pre-Shipment Inspection/Post Purchase Testing. The Intertek representative identifies the basic steps to test a product and 18 criteria for Performance testing. The two challenging parts including base front joint loading and door racking. Besides, the transit test is also extremely significant, including four main stages for ISTA standard: vibration, drop, compression, and horizontal compression.

At the end of the training session, An Cuong representatives also had the opportunity to learn about the testing process and the machinery operation. By visiting Intertek Vietnam, An Cuong team has a better understanding of the testing procedure, thereby will contribute positively to product quality improvement.
